It is recommended to those with colitis to take boswellia (80% extract) 300-600 mg 3x day. Also boswellia has no common side effects. The researcher’s involved believe that when both the safety and efficacy profile of the boswellia serrata extract is considered, it offers superiority to common over the counter drugs and worth further investigation.
