Wilhelm Williams asked:

Exactly what do you need to know about an iodine allergy? Are you allergic to iodine? If you have never been in contact with iodine how would you know?

Are you allergic to fish?

Most people who have an iodine allergy find think they are allergic to fish because they have an allergic reaction when they eat seafood. This is because the largest naturally occurring source of iodine is dissolved in seawater.

Just because a person is allergic to fish or shellfish does not mean that it is because of the iodine. It is possible to be allergic to fish for other reasons. It is very hard to determine if you have iodine allergies or sensitivity.

Uses of iodine

Iodine is used in the medical community. The two main uses are topically as an antiseptic and as a dye. Common table salt contains iodine as well.

People who develop an allergic reaction to topically administered iodine do not necessarily also indicate that they are allergic to iodine when consumed. When donating blood it is common to be asked if you are allergic to iodine, it is used to sterilize the area around the artery. The solution they are using also contains Povidone and you might be having an allergic reaction to it instead of the iodine.

Symptoms of an iodine allergic reaction

* Experience difficult breathing

* Swelling of the throat and tongue

* Anaphylactic shock

* A rash on the skin around the area exposed to iodine

You might have an iodine sensitivity.

With iodine sensitivity, you can experience fever, excessive sweating or nausea. If you are injected with iodine and suffer extreme symptoms, you would be diagnosed with an iodine allergy. If you see a rash on your skin after applying iodine, you will more than likely have an allergy to the iodine.

For these reasons, how to know if you have an iodine allergy is difficult unless you actually have an allergic reaction. If you eat fish and experience an upset stomach, nausea or vomiting, it could be the oils from the fish causing your reaction. During an x-ray however, you would know for sure you are allergic to iodine. The difficulty in breathing is the most obvious indicator.

If you need help with answering the question, how to know if you have an iodine allergy, you might need to visit an allergist to have a skin test done. If you plan to have x-rays done requiring the use of iodine injection and you have experienced nausea or other symptoms when eating fish or using iodine on the skin, you need to have a skin test done to be safe. Not everyone will have the same reactions to iodine allergies, therefore, there is no one answer that completely answers the question. It is always better to be safe than sorry with your health.

Buy Tramadol, Fioricet, Carisoprodol, Flexeril

Kelly Johnson asked:

Just about everyone around you has suffered from some type of allergy at some time and who wants to be running to the doctor all the time? Wouldn’t you rather deal with it naturally and/or find the underlying cause and de4al with it whenever possible.

Allergy relief does not have to be complex or worrisome because of the harsh chemicals. You also must remember that most modern medicine cures do no more than mask your symptoms.

The reason behind all allergies is the malfunctioning of the immune system so would it not make sense to use natural products to re-start the immune system. That means you would actually fix the problem and not mask it with over the counter or prescription drugs that only dealt with the symptoms providing allergy relief.

Allergy relief certainly makes us feel better on the outside but the trouble is nothing has really changed. That’s why even though you might use the relief it is critical that you dig deeper.

It’s really easy to get allergy relief from popping a pill but did you ever stop to think what the chemicals in those pills do to you. For example anyone with heart disease, heart failure, ore even high blood pressure is not suppose to use them. That’s because the main ingredient can cause the heart to race and blood pressure to go up making this allergy relief deadly to the user. So even if you are healthy as a horse excluding your allergies you could put yourself in a life or death situation.

Now think about this for a moment. You are going to take a medication that will give you allergy relief but it can be hazardous to your health and in between time it will do nothing to actually resolve the problem with the immune system.

There are many natural supplements that can help boost the immune system and support the adrenal system. There are several of the vitamins, especially the B’s, CoQ10, Grape seed, and Magnesium. You get anti-inflammatory qualities, immune boosters, and reduces stress to the body. Quercitin can actually help neutralize histamine which is an excellent allergy relief.

There are many reasons why the immune system suddenly goes crazy and there are some interesting theories as to why allergies are on the rise. Natural medicine believes much of it has to do with our overly stressful lives and our bodies that are no longer in balance. This means that if we were able to bring our body back into balance we wouldn’t’ be looking for allergy relief because we wouldn’t have the allergies we have right now.

If you take a minute to think about it – it makes more sense than any other explanation we’ve had. Not only are our lives stressed because we are so busy but our body’s systems are stressed because of toxins we ingest through our mouth, respiratory, and skin. That places a great deal of stress on organs and glands. And because our food chain lacks so many nutrients that it once had we are not able to refuel our body the same way we use to. And that’s why before running out and buying some allergy relief you might also consider bring your body back into balance.

So you see allergy relief will only address the symptoms. Why not get to the bottom of the problem instead?

Butalbital APAP Caffeien

yourasthmatreatment asked:

What is a skin allergy? A skin allergy is a reaction caused by a substance that comes in contact with the skin, thus a skin allergy. Some types of contact skin allergies are dermatitis, eczema and hives. Contact dermatitis develops when the skin comes in contact with something that a person is allergic to. A reaction to skin allergies may cause a redness or even swelling, stinging, burning or blisters and yes, itching.

Skin Allergies are one of the most prevalent causes of skin conditions. Generally, they are caused by an immune system which becomes hypersensitive after exposure to certain substances which it recognizes as harmful. As a result of this exposure, the body’s immune system releases huge amounts of antibodies to combat these “supposedly” harmful substances. The release of these immune cells may then cause an adverse reaction in other cells within the body.

The major symptom of skin allergy are hives, rashes, swelling, itching which may includes one or more physical signs like dry skin and it results in cracking of the skin. The hands, face, arms and neck are the common areas affected by skin allergies as are exposed usually every day.

Hives are red bumps or welts that form on the top layer of skin. Usually they will appear in a small area first, but they can then spread. You will find that the hives can appear on the face, arms, neck, or all over the body. The nature of hives is to be itchy. This means that food allergies cause itching skin in humans. Often the skin may appear itchy before the actual hives or reddened patches of skin will appear.

Common symptoms of allergies include redness and itchiness of the eyes, wheezing or other breathing problems, skin rashes or hives. Some people with severe allergies might even experience anaphylaxis or death in extreme exposure situations. There are many common allergies from which many people suffer. Animal dander (particularly from cats), pollen, dust mites and certain medications can all be causes of allergies. Some individuals are also allergic to certain foods or even whole food groups.

Something to keep in mind with the skin reaction as a result of food allergies is that irritating the area or becoming stressed over the issue can cause the skin reaction to be more pronounced. In other words if you become stressed you can actually psychologically induce hives. It is a reaction of too much chemical in your body as a result of stress. This means that for those with a food allergy they can cause the hives to become worse than they would normally be.

Eczema the most common skin problem is triggered by allergies. Similarly hives are caused by allergies. It is important to learn about allergies so that we can care for our skin. Most of us have different ideas about allergy. Some of us do not believe in allergy while some of us think that they suffer from allergy with every substance. Most of us are allergic to something. Most of these allergies are harmless but some like eczema can cause lot of distress and skin problems.

Pain Management

Grant Segall asked:

Eggs have been a part of our diet for as long as we can remember. Whether eaten scrambled, hard-boiled, or in cooking and baking, eggs are an all-American food. For most of us, eggs are simply another delicious food to be eaten but for some people, eggs can be deadly as their body overreacts to the proteins.

What happens is that for people with an egg allergy, the body views the proteins as a bad thing, an invasion so to speak. To fight off the protein, antibodies known as immunoglobulin E or IgE is produced. Therefore, when the person with an egg allergy eats eggs alone or in other foods, an allergic reaction is triggered. The body sends out these antibodies along with histamines, making the person feel lousy.

The interesting thing about an egg allergy is that typically, the reaction is from the proteins found in the egg yolk and not the whites. Another fascinating aspect of an egg allergy is that the reactions are usually seen in children under the age of five. In most cases, once the child reaches five, the allergy has been outgrown. However, there are rare occasions when an adult will show signs of an egg allergy.

The symptoms associated with an egg allergy generally appear within five to ten minutes after eating eggs although there are occasions when the reaction can take an hour or more. While most of the symptoms last 24 hours or less, they can last longer if the egg allergy is more severe. When a reaction occurs, the first sign is a red, bumpy rash and/or swelling and redness around the mouth.

Other egg allergy symptoms might include problems with the stomach such as abdominal cramps, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. In addition, some people will experience problems with the respiratory tract, commonly seen as itchy and watery eyes, sneezing, runny nose, and in serious cases, asthma to include coughing and wheezing.

In the most severe cases of egg allergy, a person will have a problem with anaphylaxis, which involves swelling of the throat, mouth, and even the airway. When this occurs, the person feels constriction of the lungs, making it difficult to breathe. Another problem seen on occasion with an egg allergy includes a dangerous drop in blood pressure. When this happens, the individual would become very dizzy and even pass out.

If you suspect you have an egg allergy, you should talk to your doctor for a correct diagnosis. However, this can be challenging in that someone with an egg allergy may have a reaction one time and then not the next. Therefore, you will need to work closely with your doctor to help make the correct diagnosis so the correct treatment can be determined.

Fioricet, buy Fioricet, generic soma, Butalbital apap caffeine online

Alisha Dhamani asked:

Most insect stings cause some pain and swelling in the area of the sting, called a local reaction. People who are allergic to bee stings or who have been stung many times may react more dramatically.

A severe local reaction may lead to pain and swelling that increase over the next few hours and becoming very uncomfortable. This does not constitute an anaphylactic reaction. The reaction must involve at least 2 of your body’s organ systems (such as lungs and heart) to qualify as an anaphylactic reaction.

Although most local reactions are not serious, if they are near the face or neck, swelling can quickly block the airway and cause serious problems. Fire ant stings cause a reaction in almost everyone. Itchy hives usually form at the site immediately and recede within an hour.

A small blister forms at each site within 4 hours. Within 8-24 hours, a small sore with pus forms at each sting site. The area around the sores may feel burning and itchy. The pus does not mean the sore is infected.

The sores rupture within 72 hours. The itching, pain, and redness may last for several days but should improve gradually. Worsening redness, pain, swelling, and warmth may signal an infection at the site. If this occurs, see your health care provider right away.

Symptoms over the entire body are always a concern because they may signal an anaphylactic reaction. If these reactions progress, they may lead to death, sometimes within a matter of minutes. These reactions may include the following. Hives (swollen bumps on the skin) and significant swelling over major body parts – face, head, neck, arms/hands, legs/feet

Difficulty breathing, wheezing, or the feeling that the throat is closing, dizziness or fainting, chest pain or racing heartbeat, and nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea. The dizziness and fainting are due to a dangerously low blood pressure. This condition is known as shock, and anaphylaxis is often called anaphylactic shock.

Mild localized itching, swelling, or discomfort requires a call your health care provider for advice. Worsening of local symptoms over a few days may be evidence of infection at the sting site. Pain, increased swelling and redness, and warmth suggest an infection. Call your health care provider for an appointment the same day.

If you had a reaction in the past, even if you used an epinephrine injection kit for this sting, go immediately to your medical office or hospital emergency department, whichever is closer. Even if you have treated yourself, you still need to be evaluated to make sure that your symptoms are resolving and are not recurring.

Hives or rash or swelling all over your body, difficulty breathing or swallowing, or dizziness or fainting suggest an anaphylactic reaction and require immediate medical attention. If you have these severe symptoms or symptoms over your entire body, you should go to a hospital emergency department.

Do not drive yourself to the hospital. If no one is available to drive you right away, call 911 for emergency medical transport. If you are able, tell the dispatcher that you are having a reaction to a sting. While waiting for the ambulance, take self-treatment measures.

Buy Fioricet Online
