Joan Willis asked:

Whether hatha yoga, patanjali or Bikram yoga, traditional breathing techniques are stressed in all of them. These breathing techniques are also called Pranayama or breath of life. They are essential for deriving the greatest level of benefits fromyogic asanas or exercises. Techniques of yoga breathing not only carry oxygen to the muscles, open up our chest and lungs, clear out sinuses, get rid of headaches but also bring down stress levels.

Most of these are practical, easy to learn, help in reducing stress effectively and can be done almost anywhere. However, they must be taught by an expert yoga teacher. The most commonly used breathing techniques in yoga are listed below.

High Breathing

High Breathing primarily takes place in the upper part of the chest and lungs. This is also known as “Collarbone Breathing” and involves raising the ribs, collarbone and shoulders. People with Asthma, a tight belt, a full stomach or who otherwise become short of breath tend to resort to high breathing. This is the least desirable form of breathing since the upper lobes of the lungs are used and these have only a small air capacity.

Middle Breathing

In Middle Breathing, mainly the middle parts of the lungs are filled with air. It exhibits some of the characteristics of both high breathing – with the ribs rising and the chest expanding – and low breathing – with the diaphragm moving up and down and the abdomen in and out. It is also known as Thoracic or Rib Breathing. In this form of breathing, the ribs and chest are expanded sideways.

Low Breathing

Low breathing takes place in the lower part of the chest and lungs. It is far more effective than high or mid breathing. It consists mainly in moving the abdomen in and out and in changing the position of the diaphragm through such movements. Because of this, it is sometimes called “Abdominal Breathing.”

This type of breathing is far superior to high or mid breathing because of four reasons:

(1) More air is taken in when inhaling, due to greater movement of the lungs and the fact that the lower lobes of the lungs have a larger capacity than the upper lobes.

(2) The diaphragm acts like a second Heart. Its piston-like movements expand the base of the lungs, allowing them to suck in more venous blood- the increase in the venous circulation improves the general Circulation.

(3) The abdominal organs are massaged by the up and down movements of the diaphragm.

(4) Low breathing has a beneficial effect on the solar plexus, which is a very important nerve center.

The Complete Breath

The Complete Breath, as defined by Yoga, involves the entire respiratory system and not only includes the portions of the lungs used in high, low and middle breathing, but expands the lungs. The Complete Breath is the basic technique of all the different types of Yoga Breathing, and therefore should be mastered under the guidance of a yoga teacher.

These breathing techniques are basic to any practitioner of yoga and are used in conjunction with exercises to balance the mind, emotions as well as physical body as well as internal organs.

Breathing

Alisha Dhamani asked:

Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths in both women and men in the United States and throughout the world. Lung cancer has surpassed breast cancer as the leading cause of cancer deaths in women.

In the United States in 2007, 160,390 people were projected to die from lung cancer, which is more than the number of deaths from colorectal, breast, and prostate cancer combined.

Only about 2% of those diagnosed with lung cancer that has spread to other areas of the body are alive five years after the diagnosis, although the survival rates for lung cancers diagnosed at a very early stage are higher, with approximately 49% surviving for five years or longer.

Some lung tumors are metastatic from cancers elsewhere in the body. The lungs are a common site for metastasis. If this is the case, the cancer is not considered to be lung cancer. For example, if prostate cancer spreads via the bloodstream to the lungs, it is metastatic prostate cancer (a secondary cancer) in the lung and is not called lung cancer.

Cancer occurs when normal cells undergo a transformation that causes them to grow and multiply without the normal controls. The cells form a mass or tumor that differs from the surrounding tissues from which it arises. Tumors are dangerous because they take oxygen, nutrients, and space from healthy cells.

About 90% of lung cancers arise due to tobacco use. Cigarette smoking is the most important cause of lung cancer. Research as far back as the 1950s clearly established this relationship. Cigarette smoke contains more than 4,000 chemicals, many of which have been identified as causing cancer. A person who smokes more than one pack of cigarettes per day has a risk of developing lung cancer 20-25 times greater than someone who has never smoked.

However, Once a person quits smoking, his or her risk for lung cancer gradually decreases. About 15 years after quitting, the risk for lung cancer decreases to the level of someone who never smoked. Cigar and pipe smoking also increases the risk of lung cancer but not as much as smoking cigarettes.

Most lung tumors are malignant. This means that they invade and destroy the healthy tissues around them and can spread throughout the body.

The tumors can also spread to nearby lymph nodes or through the bloodstream to other organs. This process is called metastasis. When lung cancer metastasizes, the tumor in the lung is called the primary tumor, and the tumors in other parts of the body are called secondary tumors or metastatic tumors.

Adenocarcinoma (an NSCLC) is the most common type of lung cancer, making up 30%-40% of all cases. A subtype of adenocarcinoma is called bronchoalveolar cell carcinoma, which creates a pneumonia-like appearance on chest x-rays. Squamous cell carcinoma (an NSCLC) is the second most common type of lung cancer, making up about 30% of all lung cancers. Large cell cancer (another NSCLC) makes up 10% of all cases. SCLC makes up 20% of all cases. And finally, Carcinoid tumors account for only 1% of all cases.

Lung cancers are usually divided into two main groups that account for about 95% of all cases. These division into groups is based on the type of cells that make up the cancer. About 5% of lung cancers are of rare cell types, including carcinoid tumor, lymphoma, and others.

The two main types of lung cancer are characterized by the cell size of the tumor when viewed under the microscope. They are called small cell lung cancer (SCLC) and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). NSCLC includes several subtypes of tumors. SCLCs are less common, but they grow more quickly and are more likely to metastasize than NSCLCs. Often, SCLCs have already spread to other parts of the body when the cancer is diagnosed.

Up to one-fourth of all people with lung cancer may have no symptoms when the cancer is diagnosed. These cancers usually are identified incidentally when a chest x-ray is performed for another reason. The majority of people, however, develop symptoms. The symptoms are due to direct effects of the primary tumor, to effects of metastatic tumors in other parts of the body, or to disturbances of hormones, blood, or other systems caused by the cancer.

Symptoms of primary lung cancers include cough, coughing up blood, chest pain, and shortness of breath. Symptoms of metastatic lung tumors depend on the location and size. About 30%-40% of people with lung cancer have some symptoms or signs of metastatic disease.

A cough that does not go away or gets worse over time should be evaluated by a health-care provider. Also, Coughing up blood (hemoptysis) occurs in a significant number of people who have lung cancer. Any amount of coughed-up blood is cause for concern. Chest pain is a symptom in about one-fourth of people with lung cancer. The pain is dull, aching, and persistent and may involve other structures surrounding the lung.

Additionally, shortness of breath usually results from a blockage to the flow of air in part of the lung, collection of fluid around the lung (pleural effusion), or the spread of tumor throughout the lungs. Wheezing or hoarseness may signal blockage or inflammation in the lungs that may go along with cancer. Finally, Repeated respiratory infections, such as bronchitis or pneumonia, can be a sign of lung cancer.

The cheapest tramadol prices

Jon Simms asked:

Lung growth is the product of wicked cells forming in the tissues of the lung, usually in the cells lining the air passages. The cells in our bodies are constantly dividing and reproducing. Usually, there’s a neat outline to this reproduction as cells upgrade and specialize to rally particular desires. Occasionally, however, a unit becomes dented. There’s a mutation in its DNA, and very than mounting and final as is ordinary, it continues to replicate unimpeded. In essence, this is melanoma – uncontrolled reproduction and growth of abnormal cells in the body.

Most lung cancers are held to twitch in the epithelial lining of the lungs – the linings of the large and small airways that work the task of extracting oxygen from the air. Because this, lung pest is sometimes called bronchogenic carcinoma – disease arising from the bronchia. A lesser percentage of lung cancers instigate in the pleura – the tinny hankie sac that surrounds the lungs. These cancers are called mesothelioma. The most joint form of mesothelioma is related to asbestos exposure.

Cancer of the lungs is one of the deadliest forms of melanoma. While it may take an interval of years to cultivate, the evil regularly goes undetected awaiting belatedly in the method. In addition, it tends to metastasize (migrate to other parts of the body) early, which grass excluding opportunities to brawl the mutated cells with surgery or radiation. Once the lung menace does metastasize, it promptly spreads to the most vulnerable and important organs of the body, particularly the adrenal glands, the liver, the brain and the bones.

There are two principal forms of lung tumor – Small Cell Lung Cancer (SCLC) and Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC). Small Cell Lung Cancer is minus communal, though far more deadly. It’s directly coupled to cigarette smoking – minus than 1% of SCLC is diagnosed in non-smokers. It’s also very aggressive and fast-emotive, metastasizing quickly to other organs, and regularly undiscovered awaiting it’s already widespread.

Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer, on the other hand, is far more shared, accounting for near 80% of all diagnosed lung cancers. There are three focal types of non-small faction lung evil, usually characterized by the magnitude, mold, and substance composition of the cells that form the pest:

Squamous Cell Carcinoma (also termed Epidermoid Carcinoma): accounts for around 25% – 30% of all lung cancers, and is associated with a saga of smoking. This menaced is near always found usually chest section, near the bronchus.

Adenocarcinoma (also termed Bronchioloalveolar Carcinoma): accounts for around 40% of all lung cancers, and is found in the outside expanse of the lung. Treatment for this form of lung melanoma regularly leads to a more successful outcome than that of other lung cancers.

Large-Cell Undifferentiated Carcinoma: accounting for only 10% – 15% of lung cancers, this form may show up in any district of the lung. It tends to broaden quickly, and often fallout in a humble prospects.

It’s also possible for lung canker to be a combination of Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer types.

There are other, less usual types of lung cancer. For example, bronchial carcinoids are small tumors often found in people under 40 years of age. They lean to grow gradually, and be willing to dealing. Carcinoid tumors account for about 5% of lung tumors. Some are non-cancerous. The others are usually leisurely-growing and can be successfully treated with surgery.

Finally, some cancers discovered in the lungs aren’t lung cancers at all. Since the lungs are level to metastatic cancers from other sites, it’s not uncommon for tumors from other primary cancers to find their way to the lungs. When this occurs, the tumors are often discovered in the peripheral tissues of the lungs quite than in the chief tissues.

Please reminder that the information provided in this section is for information purposes only. It should not be used during a checkup emergency or for the diagnosis or treatment of lung cancer. Such situations should always interest the expertise of a physician or vigor heed giver

Buy Tamiflu

Jon Simms asked:

Cells are the shops blocks that form our lives. We know the cells obviously grow, gulf, and multiply to keep out bodies healthy and stalwart. Occasionally, however, these same cells will allot and multiply when there is no necessity to do so. This fallout in a mass of cells known as a lump, or pest. An abandoned and hasty evolution of cells in the lung is lung melanoma. There are two forms of lung plague: non-small section lung canker and small chamber lung scourge.

The categories of lung menace are based morphology of the cells as seen under a microscope. The two types of lung canker have their trouble methods, as the allotment in different habits.

The most normal form of lung growth is non-small cubicle lung scourge, the style that slowly grows and spreads. In this hall are large booth carcinoma, adenocarcinoma, and squamous cubicle carcinoma, the three foremost types of non-small cabal lung scourge.

Instances of small cabal lung bane are not so regular as that of non-small lung blight. This sort of lung melanoma spreads briskly and may move different organs of the body. This lettering of lung pest is also known as oat cabal evil.

Recently lung bane has been recognized as the deadliest form of disease in many developed nations, including the USA where 170,000 people die from the disease each year. Even though lung changes start almost immediately leading exposure to carcinogens, lung disease takes time together to happen.

The inhalation of the carcinogens through cigarette smoke is the foremost instigate of lung plague in both smokers and non-smokers. The gamble of contracting lung disease increases when there is an environmental exposure to radon compounded with smoking. People working in seats with exposure to asbestos face another form of lung menace known as mesothelioma lung growth.

Most people unnatural by lung melanoma are over the age of fifty and are long-word smokers. Symptoms can diverge depending on the setting of the swelling within the lungs. Some common symptoms compose habitual cough, chest menace, panting, and chronic lung infections.

An experienced fitness cared professional can spot lung growth based on symptoms, smoking chronicle, health narration, previous family memoirs of lung disease, and exposure to occupational and environmental materials. After the first tests, a X-Ray can be worn to make an affirmative diagnosis. Different tests are offered to diagnose small group or non-small lung canker and to gauge the scaffold of the bane. Medical professionals are also able to prove whether the sarcoma is localized within the lung or has applied to other parts of the body.

Three methods treated lung melanoma: chemotherapy (in which tumor cells can be eliminated by medication), radiation therapy (eradicating the sarcoma cells with high-dose x-heat or other high-energy heat) and surgery (ejection of the cancerous cancer). It’s considered complex to delicacy vanguard theater lung cancer, but early stand cancer can be treated with moderate success.

As the adage goes, a scrap of prevention means a batter of alleviate. If you smoke, shelter yourself from lung cancer by butting out for good. If you renounce smoking now, you can regularly diminish your threat of cancer over the next 10 to 15 existence as your lungs claim.

Viagra

peterhutch asked:

Lung cancer is a disease of uncontrolled cell growth in tissues of the lung. This growth may lead to metastasis, invasion of adjacent tissue and infiltration beyond the lungs. The vast majority of primary lung cancers are carcinomas of the lung, derived from epithelial cells. Lung cancer, the most common cause of cancer-related death in men and the second most common in women,[1][2] is responsible for 1.3 million deaths worldwide annually.

What causes lung cancer?

Smoking

The incidence of lung cancer is strongly correlated with cigarette smoking, with about 90% of lung cancers arising as a result of tobacco use. The risk of lung cancer increases with the number of cigarettes smoked over time; doctors refer to this risk in terms of pack-years of smoking history (the number of packs of cigarettes smoked per day multiplied by the number of years smoked).

Lung cancer most commonly begins in the cells that line your lungs. Smoking causes the majority of lung cancers — both in smokers and in people exposed to secondhand smoke. But lung cancer also occurs in people who never smoked. In these cases, there may be no clear cause of lung cancer. Doctors have identified factors that may increase the risk.

Cancer that originates from lung cells is called a primary lung cancer. Primary lung cancer can start in the airways that branch off the trachea to supply the lungs (the bronchi) or in the small air sacs of the lung (the alveoli). Cancer may also spread (metastasize) to the lung from other parts of the body (most commonly from the breasts, colon, prostate, kidneys, thyroid gland, stomach, cervix, rectum, testes, bone, or skin).

Lung Cancer Symptoms

Lung cancer symptoms are commonly not experienced until the disease had advanced, sometimes delaying diagnosis. The symptoms of lung cancer also mimic the symptoms of other benign illnesses.

The most common lung cancer symptoms experienced are :

Onset of wheezing

Recurrent pneumonia or bronchitis

A persistent cough that does not go away

A sign is also an indication that something is not right in the body. But signs are defined as things that can be seen by a doctor, nurse, or other health care professional. Fever, rapid breathing rate, and abnormal breathing sounds heard through a stethoscope may be signs of pneumonia.

Lung Cancer Diagnosis

To help find the cause of symptoms, your doctor will evaluate your medical history, smoking history, exposure to environmental and occupational substances, and family history of cancer. Your doctor also will perform a physical exam and may recommend a chest X-ray and other tests. If lung cancer is suspected, sputum cytology — the microscopic examination of cells obtained from a deep-cough sample of mucus in the lungs — is a simple test that may be useful in detecting lung cancer. To confirm the presence of lung cancer, your doctor must examine tissue.

How can I prevent lung cancer?

The best way to prevent lung cancer is to quit smoking, or to never start in the first place. You should try and avoid being around people who are smoking; and also avoid pipes, cigars, and marijuana. If you live in an area with radon, you should make sure there is adequate ventilation in your basement to get rid of it. Use a detector to make sure the radon levels are low.

Treatment Of Lung Cancer

Many factors must be taken into account to determine the best treatment for an individual diagnosed with lung cancer. The specific type of cell, the location of the lung tumor, the stage of the disease with possible metastasis (spread to other parts of the body), and the general health of the individual must be considered. Various treatment plans may include radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and/or surgery.

Buy Tramadol, Fioricet, ultracet at the cheapest prices
